Please RSVP yes or no as soon as possible. A prompt reply helps our coaches with their preparations.

New players always welcome--recorders, baroque flutes and strings, and early loud winds. If you are new to BRS, your first meeting is a free trial. See the BRS website for details about our ensembles, membership options, and directions.

Recorder classes at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education 
Know someone who wants to learn recorder, or would you like to sharpen your ensemble skills? John Tyson offers beginners a great introduction to the recorder. John also coaches an ensemble for more advanced players.

The Return of the King: Music of the English Restoration
Sunday January 13, 3:00PM
Très Maresienne (Lisa Brooke, violin; Carol Lewis, viola da gamba; Olav Chris Henriksen, theorbo and baroque lute) perform sonatas, fantasies and grounds from the time after the English Civil War, including works by Purcell, Locke, Finger, Matteis, Young, Simpson, and Mace.
